Music

Well, frankly I really cannot appreciate music as I do not understand it a lot. But, I do like listening to music a lot (a lot means really a lot). So, I thought I should try to learn some instrument. Well, as I am more into Western Music, I thought about learning to play the guitar. Well, I can play a little now, 4 months after deciding to learn it. The thing is that I do not have any teacher as such, and then I just play the songs that I like.

The reason why I am writing this post, is that I came across this website while searching for guitar tabs. This is the most comprehensive website on guitar tabs that I have come across, and has helped me a lot in learning the guitar, so I thought I should mention it in my blog. Check it out:

My Idea

When in college, I am always on my computer doing geek-giri and so, that included reading a lots of e-books, obviously. The problem I faced was quite common, I guess. The thing is that when I am reading a technical e-book, I don’t mind sitting at my desk and then reading it. The problem arises when I try to read novels or something on those lines. I simply cannot sit up straight and read novels that are around 700 pages long.

I thought of it and then thought that there should be an electrical appliance dedicated towards this type of work. That would facilitate me to lie down and read the big novels that I want to, in the form of an e-book. I thought I had struck gold and that the idea would be awesome. When I checked on the internet for further details, I realized that I had been beaten to it.

Now that I think about it, I was very dumb to assume that I would be the first person to think on such lines. Still, now I am aiming at learning the way such devices in the industry work, and if possible, try to optimize the performance and cost of such items.(I know its a huge task, and I am aware that I do not possess the intellectual capacity to understand the working of it, but I have 2.5 months of holidays with nothing to do…)

Spectacular!

This is to officially announce that I have been absorbed into the world of people with four eyes(or eyes+specs). The transition was quite interesting because I always had the fascination of wearing spectacles, because I think that they make me look a shade bit more sincere. People might want to disagree here, saying that I can never ever look even a little sincere. I will agree with them, but only partially, because even I thought i looked more sincere in my new specs.

The world looks very weird from behind glasses, and the tickle at the place where the specs meet your nose is very very very irritating. That is the most annoying part of wearing specs. On the brighter side, it feels damn cool to sit in front of the computer and type while wearing specs.(I feel like I am working on something very important, even though all I am doing is writing this stupid blog!) Well, I just hope that I don’t make a spectacle out of myself when I get back to college.
